The Liebster Blog Award has the following rules:

So here are 11 random things about myself:

1. My favourite chocolate is a toss up between Toblerone, Danish Marzipan or Toffifee.
2. I love to go quading with my hubby, especially when we go to a derby and get covered in mud.
3. I enjoy fishing and would go with my Dad as a little girl every chance I got.  Ice fishing included.
4. I have weird taste buds and like “HeadCheese” & “Tongue” (a deli meat that I really don’t eat anymore but still like).  I also like all seafood, ox tail soup and tartar (a Danish dish of raw ground beef, raw egg, onions and capers on German brown bread).  I think I just lost some readers!
5. I worked at a riding stable for close to five years and love horses.
6. I have a soft spot in my heart for teddy bears.  Especially black bears made by Gund.
7. I jump head first into things even before thinking them through.  I just get too excited to try something new.
8. I love playing video games with my son in our p.j.’s on any given day!
9. I love to golf with my son and hope to do so till I can’t anymore.
10. I’ve been to Swaziland, Africa on two missions trips.
11. I have a brother who lives in Denmark and have been there once so far.  Hopefully many more times to come!

Here are the answers to the 11 questions asked of me:

1. Have you ever travelled to another country?  Yes, many of them.
2. Do you enjoy dressing up for special occasions?  Yes, as long as I’m not tired and have the time to get ready without being rushed.
3. If you run, what is your favourite season to run in?  Definitely summer!
4. Do you play an instrument?  Nope, not gifted in that area.
5. Do you drink pop?  On occasion I will drink it.
6. What is your shoe size?  Read post Who Needs Skis With Feet Like These.  Size 11.
7. What is your favourite Disney character?  Mickey Mouse since that’s who it all started with.
8. Do you have any tattoos?  Not yet.
9. If you could choose an age, what would it be?  I would love to go back to 35.  Old enough to know better, young enough to still do it.
10. Which one would you do?  Rock climbing or wind surfing?  Since I’ve already been rock climbing, I would have to say wind surfing.
11. What is your favourite type of pie?  Cherry.
